The day I first walked in the doors of cape cod recovery center, was one of the best and worst days of my life.

I had just gotten out of jail, and I was certain I would be returning soon. At that point in my life, I was not scared of incarceration, or death. As a matter of fact, I looked at it head on, and I embraced it.

But, through constant therapy with my amazing therapist, Ann Ellen, I have found a new way of life and no longer am the man I was before.

I have found a new and better life than I could’ve ever dreamt of. I was a wise-ass, scared hypocrite. But through this program, I’ve become a man that is happy to see his reflection in the mirror.

I do still have my faults, but I no longer let them take control over my life and everything I work for.

I want to say thank you to Scott, Annellen, Kevin, and Mirit for all you have done for me. It wouldn’t have been possible without you guys.
